The Assura 2-piece closed pouch is a mechanical coupling device with added reassurance.

• The pouch is securely fastened to the baseplate by a mechanical coupling system. The audible "click" confirms the secure closure of the pouch to the baseplate.

• Before fastening the pouch in position, it can be rotated to the desired position without needing to remove the pouch from the baseplate.

• The pouch can be removed from the spiral adhesive baseplate, allowing the pouch to be changed more often than the adhesive baseplate.

\nAssura 2-piece closed pouches are available with standard wear baseplates, flat or convex. The wide assortment includes a range of baseplates with pre-cut or customizable openings, with pouches of various sizes available in transparent or opaque colors. \n

Convexity, for difficult-to-manage stomas

\nAssura 2-piece closed pouches are available with two different levels of convexity, designed to help manage difficult stomas. The special oval shell creates pressure on the peristomal skin, reducing the risk of leakage by allowing the stoma to protrude above the skin. \n

Light convex:

\nA solution for flush or slightly retracted stomas, providing extra security through light, delicate pressure on the abdomen. \n

Convex:

\nA solution for retracted stomas, deep skin folds, and scars, providing extra security through moderate to high pressure on the abdomen. \n \n
