\nIntroduction
\nTomato Cast is an orthopedic synthetic casting tape, made of woven fiberglass or polyester fabric
\nthat utilizes water-activated polyurethane resin. This fabric is quite flexible in every direction and
\nthis makes it easy to use. The hardening process begins as soon as it is exposed to moisture in the air and
\nyou may have about 4 minutes of setting time. Hardening takes about 20 minutes.
\nTomato Cast is so porous that it drains moisture quickly after hardening and this allows it to
\nmaintain its lightweight and strength for a long time. It also has high transparency features for X-
\nrays and this makes it easy to monitor the patient’s condition.
\nTomato Cast is extremely flexible making it easy to apply and the end edge adhesions are extremely
