Hot: Place the gel pack in the microwave for approximately 30 seconds (if the gel pack is frozen at room temperature) or 1 minute (if the gel pack is frozen at high power). After this time, ensure the correct temperature is reached. If not, continue exposure in 10-second bursts. Times are based on a 600-watt microwave. Adjust heating times according to your microwave's power. Hot water: Bring water to a boil. Remove it from the heat and submerge the gel pack for approximately 4-10 minutes. After 4 minutes, check every minute to see if the correct temperature has been reached, ideal for use - temporary relief of muscle pain, back pain, sinusitis, and menstrual cramps.
