Description

The chamber is designed for use with a metered-dose inhaler (MDI) to deliver aerosol medicine to your lungs as prescribed under the supervision of a licensed physician and/or respiratory therapist. Intended environments for use include home, hospital, and clinics. For single-patient use only.

How to use:

• Before use, carefully inspect the chamber. Remove any foreign objects from the chamber. Replace the chamber if any defect is noticed.
• Remove the cap from both the MDI and the chamber. When using the mask, insert the mask firmly into the mouthpiece.
• Insert the MDI into the back of the chamber and shake the MDI and the chamber.
• Place the mouthpiece in the mouth and close the lips around it to ensure a tight seal. Place the mask over the mouth and nose and ensure a tight seal.
• Exhale gently. Press the MDI at the beginning of a slow inhalation. Then breathe slowly and deeply through the mouth until a breath is taken. Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds if possible. Otherwise, keep your lips tightly sealed around the mouthpiece and breathe about 2-3 times through the chamber after pressing the MDI.
• While using the mask, exhale gently. Press the MDI at the beginning of a slow inhalation, then maintain the seal for 5-6 breaths after pressing the MDI.
