Purpose of usage;

The Alterna ostomy adhesive plate and ostomy bag are for collecting exit from a stoma.

The adhesive plate is intended to adhere to the peristomal skin and is used to place ostomy bags.

Filter;

The bags have an integrated filter.

Each can contains filter covers that can be used when showering, swimming, or to prevent gas escape from the bag.

The filter cover is put over the filter opening.

Two different exit features in open bags;

Alterna open bag products are available with both a Hide-away outlet and a clamped closure system.

Products with a hide-away outlet have an integrated closure system that eliminates the need for clamps.
