Place the mask over the mouth and nose and ensure a tight seal.\u003c\/li\u003e\n \t\u003cli\u003eExhale gently. Press the MDI at the beginning of a slow inhalation. Then breathe slowly and deeply through the mouth until a breath is taken. Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds if possible. Otherwise, keep your lips tightly sealed around the mouthpiece and breathe about 2-3 times through the chamber after pressing the MDI.\u003c\/li\u003e\n \t\u003cli\u003eWhile using the mask, exhale gently.
